Where people
make the difference
Vibrant,
tourist-friendly, easy to explore and bicycles everywhere. That is Amsterdam,
capital of the Netherlands, in a nutshell.
But it is not
necessarily the variety of mouth-watering cheese, the art museums or the
excellent public transport system that would make me go back.
It is the city’s
wonderful people and the feel they bring to the streets. If you have a map in
your hand and you just look slightly lost, you can be sure that someone will
soon run to your rescue – and help
you in English.
Amsterdam is
inviting. It is busy. It is fun.
Just be on the lookout for everything that’s moving; the trams, trains, buses
and cyclists sometimes appear out of nowhere.
